I liked it. The melody was pretty good, and the transitions into the different instruments were geat. The only I thought it needed was some deviation from the melody or progression earlier than I heard it at 1:25.

I agree, it's definitely more repetitive than my usual stuff.
Yeah, that definitely sounds like Layton, but that doesn't mean it's not good!
thanks for listening!
It sounds really good for a video game! I like where it gets all different at 0:55, and the transition back to the melody is great.
Thanks! Actually, I think the abrupt modulation to flat II at 0:55 was the reason I originally hated it. I had a very hard time figuring out how to transition back to the original key when I was first writing it. Also, I had extended the triangle wave channel's arpeggios for a few more bars (in a Faxanadu-ish style), which made it so the transition back to the beginning of the loop really didn't work. I actually enjoy it much more now, though, since I've gotten the chance to listen to it again and forget the previous incarnations. Thanks for your feedback!
Sounds pretty good! Reminds of the old Donkey Kong water music.
Hey, thanks! I haven't actually heard the old Donkey Kong water music. I'll have to look it up to see what you mean. :)
Has the feel of a credits of a videogame. Really nice. Hopw to see more like this one!
Powerful
Very good, but was a little loud. Introduction was very powerful, but the song is a little slow in getting to the main part. The whole things sound like it is building up to something. Please continue the song.
yeah, I've been meaning to get working on the other part but nothing epic has struck this mind of mine.
Very good
Beautiful. Would make a very good movie theme, like when the main character finds their son or something.
However, the piano goes a little high in some parts.
^_^' I've noticed the high piano bit. Bright piano + high notes = not the best thing. Still, glad you liked it! Thanks for the listen and the review!
